  • After you have unchecked the “Turn on SafeSearch” option, you need to scroll down and click “Save” to save the applied changes.
  • As you save the changes, the SafeSearch filtering will deactivate.

To check if the applied changes are working well, you can search for any term. If you find any results matching your term appear on the screen, the SafeSearch is working.

Disable Google SafeSearch on Mobile Browsers

The user experience on both hand-held devices and PC may vary. The mobile browser works differently from PC browsers. If you use the latest Chrome version, you can set it to desktop mode and apply the same steps on your mobile browser to disable the Google SafeSearch.   • The first thing you need to do is to open your browser.
  • Visit the Google website.

  • When you see the “Search Settings” option, select the “Show Explicit Results” button.
  • Doing so will turn off filtering in your web browser.
  • If you want to enable the filtering again, you can choose the “Hide explicit results” option.
  • After you have disabled the Google SafeSearch, scroll down until you see the “Save” option.
  • Click it to save the changes you made.

Turn off Google SafeSearch in Google Search App on Android
