Even before the official release, Microsoft has already announced the issues that can appear while using the Xbox Series X/S. Microsoft states that some of the bugs they have come across during the tests don’t have a proper solution as of now. Both the next generation gaming consoles, Series X and Series S, were most awaited since their announcements, but now, some days before their arrival, Microsoft is stating that the consoles might come with bugs.

How Do I Fix Known Xbox Console Issues?

When the signal is lost on 4K 120Hz + VRR
Firstly, you need to ensure that the latest firmware is installed on your TV. Further, check if your TV has a robust net connection, and you have enabled the Automatic Updates or not.
Then try different resolutions with or without VRR. For that, go to the Settings option and then click on General, then on TV & display options, and click on the Video Modes check/uncheck.
You can modify the refresh rate and resolution from the TV & Display options where you need to go to the Display section and try 1440p/120hz + VRR or 1080p/120hz + VRR.
If a corrupted image persists, you need to disable VRR on the TV altogether.
You can also reset your resolution or perform a video mode reset.
When the BBC iPlayer or EA Play app doesn’t launch/install
Unfortunately, there is no fix right now, If the BBC iPlayer or EA Play app doesn’t launch or install on your gaming console. It can be a compatibility issue. Microsoft is currently working in order to fix this issue as soon as possible.
Too Dark HDR on the Consoles
You may see very dark HDR captures on both of the consoles. Once again, there is no quick fix for this problem too. There’s only a promise by Microsoft to soon find a possible way to fix it in the future.
Display blacks out while inserting Blu-ray/DVD
This issue reoccurs on the Xbox whenever a Blu-ray disc or DVD is inserted on to the console. The issue might get fixed after removing the disc, restarting the Xbox Series X|S, and then re-inserting the disc.
Pixelated frames on Peacock TV app
While using the Peacock TV app, the users may occasionally see the pixelated frames on their console. This issue is among those that need to be rectified as soon as possible, and Microsoft experts have promised to fix it in the upcoming update.
